If it ain’t broke….
I told myself that I could avoid it. No way those marketing geniuses could permeate my ability to resist even the most tempting of today’s latest and greatest. That’s right. Skin of steel.
Or some kind of soft, gelatinous liquid material.
I broke. Like Oprah in front of a buffet line, I broke. Halo 3 was in my hands on opening day, and I told myself that I would not buy this game until at least Christmas. Oh yeah. I’m a tough cookie for advertisers to crack!
Listen, I can go on and on about my inability to resist things like this, but instead, I’ll just say that the game is outstanding thus far. Feels a lot like Halo 1 in the single player, which is exactly what I wanted. The scope is enormous, and the landscape is just beautiful to stare at.
I can’t give a review yet, as I’ve barely scratched the surface. So, I guess I’ll bite the bullet and put more time into it. That’s the kinda guy I am. Tough cookie.
